Tucson military, community leader laid to rest with honor
Guard and Reserve servicemembers representing all branches of the United States armed forces carry Bill Valenzuela to his final resting place at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz., July 12. Valenzuela was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in Tucson. He was Arizona’s Chairman for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve and was later named Chair Emeritus - constantly working to promote understanding and support between employers and their National Guard and Reserve member employees. He was a member of the Arizona Veteran's Hall of Fame and he garnered countless Lifetime Achievement Awards and Man of the Year Honors from business and philanthropic organizations nationwide. 7/13/2012 - TUCSON, Ariz. -- Guard and Reserve servicemembers representing all branches of the United States armed forces provided military funeral honors for Bill Valenzuela at his final resting place at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz., July 12.

Valenzuela was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in Tucson. He was Arizona's Chairman for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve and was later named Chair Emeritus - constantly working to promote understanding and support between employers and their National Guard and Reserve member employees.
